She loves creating an environment where both team members and patients feel valued. Alina lives in Illinois with her husband and their two sons. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her at one of her children’s events, tackling another home project, or enjoying a quiet evening with family. Her faith is an important part of who she is and continues to shape both her life and the way she leads.

A lifelong connection to the Erie community, Brooke grew up in Erie and graduated from Erie High School in 2000. She attended Black Hawk College, where she also played volleyball, before becoming a Registered Sleep Technologist through Scott Community College. After 23 years in sleep medicine, she was ready for a change that would allow her to continue caring for patients while finding a better balance for her family.
She was drawn to Crossroads Dental Group by the team’s commitment to both family and exceptional patient care. She enjoys being part of an environment where patients are genuinely cared for and relationships matter.
Brooke and her husband, Derrick, have been married for over 20 years and have two daughters. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling with her family and cheering on her daughters at their volleyball and basketball games.

Claire’s journey has taken her through a few unexpected places, but ultimately led her to dentistry. Born in Tinley Park, Illinois, she moved with her family to Nicaragua at age eight, where they spent winters traveling the country in their RV. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she returned to the United States full-time to help care for her grandfather, and it was during that time that she met her fiancé.
Claire discovered her love for dentistry after joining a dental office that was willing to train her. Although she briefly stepped away to pursue further schooling, she soon realized that dentistry was where she belonged. She is grateful to have found a home at Crossroads, where she loves being part of a supportive team and creating positive experiences for patients.
Claire and her fiancé live in Sterling with their two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her fiancé, and enjoying time with the people and pets she loves.

Deidra began her journey in dentistry in February 2024, bringing a background in communications. She enjoys learning the many sides of the dental practice, quickly picking up on business operations, and most of all, connecting with patients and team members. Growing up in Erie, Illinois, and attending Erie High School, Heather developed an early love for sports, physical activity, and helping others. That passion led her to become a personal trainer and group fitness instructor immediately after high school and eventually a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, working with recreational, collegiate, and Olympic athletes. Fitness and wellness continue to be an important part of her life, and she still enjoys consulting in the field today.
Her passion for understanding how the body works led her to Illinois State University, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, including a master’s in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology. She later completed a post-graduate fellowship in a biomechanics lab in Vail, Colorado, and worked alongside an orthopedic surgeon in Breckenridge before returning to the Midwest. She went on to earn her PhD in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa in 2010, with a research focus on physical activity and bone health.
Much of her career has been spent in education, program development, and research, with the majority of her time as a professor of exercise science. When she learned about the opportunity to join Cornerstone through a friend, she was drawn to the organization’s values, positive approach to business, and genuine care for both patients and team members. She joined the organization in 2025 and has enjoyed bringing her background in education, health, and wellness into the clinical setting. While dentistry has been a new area to learn, she has embraced the challenge and has enjoyed being part of a field focused on helping people live healthier lives.
She lives in Illinois with her husband, Brandon, and their son, Colton. Outside of work, they enjoy family movie nights, spending time outdoors, sports, hiking, sharing meals with friends and family, and gathering around a bonfire. And, of course, an occasional Whitey’s ice cream run is always a favorite.
She is grateful for the opportunity to use her background and experience in a new way and looks forward to continuing to learn, grow, and help others along the way.

Growing up between the northwest suburbs of Chicago and Dubuque, Iowa, Michelle eventually made Dubuque home for high school and college. She graduated from Loras College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. After college, she moved to the Quad Cities area, where she has called home ever since.
Her interest in dentistry actually began when she was young. She always looked forward to going to the dentist and would sometimes even remind her mom that it was time to schedule their next appointments. When she joined the team in March 2019, she had no clinical background, but it didn’t take long for her to discover a genuine interest in dentistry. What started as a new career path quickly became something she truly enjoys. She loves that every day at Crossroads brings an opportunity to learn something new, connect with patients, and make a positive difference in someone’s life.
One of the things she appreciates most about working at Crossroads is the opportunity to continue growing while being part of a team that genuinely cares about its patients and one another. She enjoys learning about dentistry and being part of the many small moments that can make a patient’s experience more comfortable and positive.
She and her husband, Steve, have been married since 2018 and have two sons, Isaac and Levi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and making memories with her boys.

It’s hard to believe Skye has been part of the dental field since 2009. Over the years, she has worn many hats, gaining experience as both a Dental Assistant and Business Assistant before stepping into her current role as Chief Accounts Manager. Today, she oversees accounts receivable for the offices and helps navigate the more complex billing and insurance needs that come with caring for patients and running a successful dental practice. She especially enjoys being someone the team can turn to when a patient account needs a little extra attention.
Much of her work happens behind the scenes, but the relationships she builds with patients and team members are an important part of what she loves about her role. She wants patients to feel that coming to the dentist is easy and that they can trust the people caring for them. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is watching patient families grow over the years and knowing that she and the Crossroads team have played a positive role in their lives.
Originally from a small town in southeast Iowa, Skye moved to Davenport with her family in 2009. She and her husband, James, have been together since 2003 and have two children. Outside of work, they enjoy taking day trips, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places together. She is always drawn to scenery that looks like something Bob Ross might have painted. She is also a proud Dachshund enthusiast, although her entire family shares a love for animals, and they have just enough furry family members at home to keep their hearts happy.
Her hope is simple: that every patient feels comfortable, knows they can trust their team, and leaves Crossroads feeling cared for. She loves being part of a practice where those relationships can continue for years and generations to come.

Sophie is a Quad Cities native and a 2019 graduate of a small private school. Her career path has taken her through several different industries, including working as an Executive Assistant at her church and later building a career in banking. She started as a teller and worked her way up to become a Loan Officer before deciding she was ready for something new.
Her sister, Emily, who was already part of the Crossroads team, told her about an opening, and she decided to take a chance. It didn’t take long for her to realize she had found the right fit. She loves her role and, especially, the people she gets to work with each day. She appreciates seeing the values of Crossroads lived out through the way the team cares for one another and its patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their dog, Bentley. They are also excited to welcome their first baby boy in January! She is grateful for where life has led her and looks forward to growing with Crossroads in the years ahead.
